Lily's Elementary school put on a Veteran's Day celebration. It was a big deal! To start it off, they asked kids to bring in pictures of those in their lives that have served or that are currently serving our country. Lily chose to write about Uncle Stevie and took a picture of him in. She is very proud of her Uncle and what he is doing for our freedom! The day of the celebration, they had a parade and then they had some military vehicles to explore. It was a really great experience! Lily talked about it for weeks!

Pumpkin Carving and Halloween
We had a great time carving pumpkins for Halloween this year! Logan wasn't sure about the guts of the pumpkin at first. But once he saw Lily digging in he decided it wasn't all bad! After we carved them, we made pumpkin seeds. The kids are huge fans of pumpkin seeds!
I love this picture! Lily used to hate touching the guts of the pumpkin - much like Logan at first! Now she is all over cleaning out the pumpkin!
This little guy will do anything his sister does! He loves her and looks up to her so much!
Drawing the face she wanted Daddy to cut out

For Halloween, we had the Torres family over for dinner and then we took the kids out trick-or-treating. They had a blast going around and getting candy! I love the excitement of children!

More Utah Fun
Our main reason for taking a trip to Utah this Fall was to see Cassie go through the temple and say goodbye before she headed out on her mission. Saturday was the big day. TJ and I were able to go with Cassie through the Mount Timpanogos temple. While we were at the temple, the kids were able to hang out with Aunt Allie and Uncle Nate and all the Gray cousins. Thank you so much Allie and Nate for taking our kids and having so much fun with them! They talked about it for days! They had so much fun!
All the Gray cousins! In the back - Wyatt and Lily. In the front - Logan, Thomas, and Graycie.
They had a great time watching Wyatt's soccer game and then had fun at the park.

Gardner Village Witch Fest!
On our trip to Utah this Fall, we took a day to spend at Gardner Village! Every Fall they have a Witch Festival that is really cool to see! This was our first time and we would love to go back! The kids had fun going on a witch hunt. They had some really elaborate displays! Lily got all dolled up in her Witch costume for Halloween and Logan wore his Batman. We went with TJ's mom and sisters. We had to get in some fun with Aunt Cassie before she left on her mission.
As soon as we got there, these two witches came up to Lily and commented on how cute she was! They were amazing so we took a picture with them!
Logan really thought that the witches were real. He was trying to talk to this one!
We sure missed TJ as he was studying. We took a picture of the baseball playing witches just for him!
After we had found almost all the witches, we went to eat lunch at the restaurant there. While we waited for out table, we took pictures and played with the leaves.
We will sure miss our Aunt Cassie for the next 18 months. We are so glad we got to spend some time with her before she left!
