Being a Good Neighbor!

What is a good Neighbor? TJ gave a great talk yesterday at Church about being a good neighbor. While he was preparing his talk we talked a lot about the subject. We talked about the parable of the Good Samaritan. We all know the parable about the Good Samaritan. Well TJ shared with me a different look at this parable that he heard during a religion class at BYU. We being the "certain man" covered in sin. The Savior being the "Good Samaritan" who comes and takes care of us through the Atonement. He leaves us in the care of the "inn keeper", or church leaders, until he comes again. So in this case, who is Neighbor? Christ or today, those who act as Christ would act. So, What makes a good Neighbor? Someone who treats others the way Christ would treat them. Well we have been blessed by so many GOOD NEIGHBORS, especially the past few months as we have been in our new home! We have been blessed by the kindness of so many. People helping move in and going above and beyond what they were asked to do! Others helping with our new home owner questions. Wonderful people willing to care for Lily so we can go to the Temple! And time and time again by those that live right next door to us! We are in the right place and Heavenly Father has placed amazing people all around us to show us love and friendship! Our next door neighbors have been so wonderful! They have taken care of us since the very day we moved in! The latest fruits of their Neighborliness has made Lily one very lucky and happy little girl! They have two daughters and don't plan on having more so they have been too kind to share the toys that their girls have grown out of! Lily is the proud new owner of some very fun yard toys! She would play out there all day long! I just love that every time she plays on her new toys she mentions the little girl that gave them to her and we get to talk about the kindness of our neighbors!
With all that continually happens to us, I feel like I have not done enough to be a good neighbor to others. I am trying, but I fall so short. I guess that gives me something to aspire to and I am trying to do so! Well after the ramblings, here are a few pictures of our Adorable Little Lily enjoying her new toys! Thanks for everyone that is so Neighborly to us!

Woween and Pa Visit!

This past weekend we had a special visit from Uncle Woween (Collin) and Pa (Grandpa Gray). Lily sure was excited to have them here! She sugared up Collin and Pa pretty good! They came into town to play with TJ. For Christmas TJ got his Dad and Collin tickets to the Senior PGA event here in Denver. So this last weekend they had a weekend full of GOLF! TJ was very excited to have them here. Friday they golfed and Lily and I stayed home and babysat a friends son so they could paint. That night we all went to the Rockies vs. Dodgers game. It was a lot of fun! Lily sure enjoyed it! I think her favorite was when Pa got dipp'n dots! She was the first one with a spoon and she went right to town! Collin had it in his hand furthest away from Lily and so she leaned all the way over dad and him to get her spoon in the goods! She is a crack up! Saturday the guys went down to Parker to watch the golf and Lily and I once again babysat! That night we went to dinner. Then Sunday they left but before they did, TJ grilled up some yummy stakes! He sure loves his new grill! Here are a few pictures from the weekend! ENJOY!

Lily loved having story time with Pa!

The Gray boys and Lily after Church! They sure look good! Lily sure misses her 'Woween' and 'Pa'!

When Mommy Says...

When Mommy says, "Lily would you like some fish with your yogurt?" Lily dips her fish in her yogurt! When Mommy says, "Lily it is time to wash your hands for lunch." Lily finds mommy's gloves and puts them on!
When Mommy says, "Lily will you put the napkins on the table?" Lily tries out Daddy's fork!
I love being a Mom! There is not a day that goes by that I don't laugh and smile because of my child! She is so much fun and so entertaining! These are memories that I will always treasure!

Carousel

Lily rode the Carousel for the first time and loved it! She rode the 'bra' and now every time she sees a Zebra, she says, "bra, ride"! I just love this little girl and love the enthusiasm she has for life! Such a simple pleasure lights up her big smile and makes me smile too! It was a great day at the Zoo! I am sure we will be riding it again!

Just Because!

Lily can sleep just about any where! This is nice because she will still transfer to the crib once we are home! I think sleeping kids are so precious!
Another sleeping picture! She feel asleep while I was doing my hair. She loves mommy and daddy's bed!
Dancing with Daddy is a favorite activity! She loves the wide open space!
Lily LOVES these super cute rain boots! Grandma Gray sent them over and Lily wore them for a week straight! She still needs to grow into them, but she loves them nonetheless!
