The Cuteness that is Lily!

Lily supplies us with many cute moments that make us smile!  Here are a few from the past couple days!
We came home from Church and Lily fell asleep eating lunch!  I guess Nursery is pretty exhausting!
Holding Logan.  It may look like he is not enjoying it, but he was.  He loves his big sister and gives her the biggest grins!
We were getting ready to go to the Zoo and I asked her to get her jacket.  She told me she put it on the right way all by herself!  She was so proud of herself.  I let her wear it that way to the Zoo!
She asked me to take her picture!  She was excited to wear her new butterfly shirt and wanted a picture of it to look at!  She kept asking me to take her picture again so she could see it on the screen!  She is a beautiful girl that is growing way to fast for me!

When the House is QUIET...

It can only mean one thing....Lily is getting herself into some trouble!  Or maybe just practicing to become the next big Make-up Artist!  She is rather good, so if anyone is looking for a make-up artist, she has pretty good rates...she only charges a smile when you see the beautiful job she has done!  She specializes in MASCARA and BED HEAD HAIR!  You cant help but love this little girl!

Planting Our Garden!

Lily was able to help us plant our garden this year!  She even got her own gloves, shovel and Cherry Tomato plant!  She had a hard time waiting to get home from the store to use her new gloves and shovel to plant her very own plant!  Last year Lily would be outside and see a red tomato and grab it and take a bite!  To say that Lily LOVES tomatoes is an understatement!  Just the other day we were at the store and she reached out and grabbed a ripe tomato and took a bite!  The cashier thought it was funny.  So needless to say, this year we thought we would give her her own plant and tell her that she can only eat off of her plant.  Maybe we will end up with a few more tomatoes than last year!  We had a great time planting our plants and watering them!  Lily is excited that she gets to water them with me every day!

Visiting Daddy At Work!

We met TJ for lunch last week!  Lily was so excited that we were going to go to Daddy's office!  As soon as I told her we were going to see Daddy, she started to get really excited and kept asking every 5 minutes if it was time to go!  She LOVES to go there for many reasons...She gets to ride the elevator up to the 31st floor!  She gets to color on the board with lots and lots of colors!  Everyone comes out of their offices to say hi to her!  She is in Heaven when she goes to Daddy's office!
After we picked Daddy up, we walked over to Rock Bottom Brewery to have lunch!  Lily LOVED getting to spend time with Daddy in the middle of the day!  She clung tight to him the whole time we were out!

Back at the office, she quickly found the markers to color on Daddy's board!  She would stay there for hours coloring!  She was such a happy girl and did not want to leave!  Luckily I was able to convince her to leave without making too big of a scene!  She already is looking forward to the next time we go have lunch with Daddy!  Next time we will have to pack a picnic and have lunch with Daddy at the park near where they are moving their office in July!

As you can see, Logan enjoyed his time too!

A Sisters Love!

Lily LOVES her little brother.  Almost daily she asks to hold him.  She is getting pretty good at holding him too!  She will place her hand under his head and the other around him.  When she is done she gives him a hug and a kiss.  I love that her kisses don't ever touch what she is kissing.  She will get close and then make the sound of a kiss.  She is adorable!  I love to watch her take care of her baby brother!

This last picture is just too cute not to share!  I love how he pulls his little legs up to sleep still!

I LOVE My Job!

There are two special reasons that I love being a mom!  The first being Lily and the second being Logan!  They fill each day with love and excitement!  From the early morning wake up calls to the evening bargaining of how many songs should be sung at bedtime, I love it all!  Now I am far from perfect and so I lose it from time to time, but I would not change any of the learning experiences I have had and know I will continue to have!  My children teach me so much about being childlike through the pure love they share with me.  I hope that I can teach them something valuable too!

On Mothers Day I was spoiled!  Lily was so excited to give me my presents.  She had given away a lot of hints the day before about what she had bought with dad!  She was so funny about it too!  She kept saying it was Christmas and Dad would correct her that it was Mothers Day!   I had made skirts for the two of us out of the same fabric so we wore them on Mothers Day!  I even made matching flowers for our hair!  She thought it was pretty cool that we matched!  I never thought I would be one of those moms that dressed her daughter in a matching outfit, but I am and I LOVED IT!
So in Nursery Lily made me flowers and a box full of love!  When we got home she had to plant the flowers with the other flowers out front!  I thought it was cute that she wanted them to be in the flower box!

All About Lily

Our Lily is growing up so fast!  Some days I wish it would stop and other days I love to see her grow and do new things!  She is such a blessing in our home.  She is the best big sister to her little brother!  She loves him and is very aware when he needs something.  If she is unable to do it herself, she will let me know that he is in need of something.  I love to see the love she has for him.  She is also a little too curious sometimes and finds herself in trouble!  She keeps us on our toes that is for sure!  She will say some of the cutest things as well as some of the most frustrating!
The other day we got into the car and she asked what we were listening to.  I told her it was the CD I got at Church with Church music on it.  Her response was, "Church music is for when I get married.  I want to listen to real music please!"  Later in the same care ride, I got frustrated at a lady driver and said something I should not have.  I called her stupid.  Lily quickly asked what I had said.  She then followed with, "I want you to be a nice mommy!"  Nothing like having your child call you out!  I sure do love her and that she keeps me in line!  I just wish she would listen a little more when I am trying to keep her in line!
A few of the other favorites she has said..."You are a mommy princess!"  "Megan Mommy!"  "I need to write my shopping list before we go to the store mom."  "I am not your buddy mom, I am your girl!"  "When I get a little smaller you can give me Logan milk.  Okay Mommy!"  "That was a big Mommy sneeze!  When I was little, I had Logan Robert Gray sneezes!"  I could go on and on about this beautiful little girl!  Here are a few pictures of her.
The other day I had a friend over to help me cut some stuff out. While we were cutting the fabric, Lily had gone out to the garage and brought her bike into the house!  She then proceeded to ride it around the kitchen!  We have since had the talk that we ride our bike outside and not around the kitchen!
Lily is getting so good at climbing around the playgrounds all by herself!  She would stay at the park for hours if I would let her!

Logan's Blessing Day!

Our little Logan Robert Gray was blessed on Sunday May 1, 2011!  It was a beautiful day celebrated with family and friends!  We were blessed to have our family and friends celebrate with us!
I feel bad that I didn't get any pictures of just Lily in her blessing outfit.  We took so many pictures when she was blessed but none of just her, so with Logan I made sure that I did!  He looked so handsome in his little suit and all in white!  The blanket he is on was made by TJ's grandma Goble.

Lily is such a proud big sister.  She takes such good care of her little brother and every once in a while she will show just how much she loves him by giving him kisses.  I should add that she doesn't like to give out kisses very often.  She will tell you what day of the week will be the kissing day!  What a silly little girl!

This is the picture of most of those that stood in the circle as Logan was blessed.  Patrick Flynn, Collin Gray, Robert Gray, TJ Gray, Keith Warner, Zac Barrus.  Those not pictured were JK Rupprecht, Garth Farrell, and Brother Hoffman - 1st counselor in the Bishopric.
Logan was named after TJ's dad, Robert.  We hope that he will always remember the person he is named after as someone to look up to.

Weekend of FUN!

We were so lucky this weekend to have our house full of family!  The Warner Grandparents arrived on Friday afternoon and the Gray Grandparents plus Tiffany, Collin, and Cassie arrived on Saturday morning!  We had a great time introducing everyone, minus the grandmas, to Logan.  We also had fun playing games and laughing!  Lily was in heaven with all the family staying at her house!
Lily enjoyed her time spent with Grandpa Warner.  He read her books as well as taught her how to play "Angry Birds" on his iPad (I didn't get any pictures of this, but they did a lot!)

Lily LOVES her aunt Nini.  She especially Loves her when she is holding Logan!  Lily climbed right up into Tiffs lap while she was cuddling Logan.  She also climbed into her lap at the restaurant when Tiff had her turn to hold Logan!  She was a little afraid that she might lose her Nini if she didn't hold onto her!  No worries though!  They had a lot of fun playing and coloring!
This is one happy little girl sitting between two of her favorites!

Grandpa Warner and Logan had some quality time together as they both fell asleep on the couch!  It was too cute not to take a picture of it!
Lily was especially fond of Collin this weekend.  As the Gray's arrived, she pushed past Grandparents and said she had to say, "hi." to Collin first!  She also drug him up to her room to play and held his hand into Church!  She will enjoy drawing him pictures while he is on his mission!
We also spent time with friends on Sunday.  We invited some friends to Logan's blessing and then over for lunch after.  Lily LOVES dancing as well as Jorge and Aleida and Valeria!  So she sure was happy when they all got to dance while lunch was being put together.
Lily also spent a lot of time with Grandpa Gray.  They played catch outside.  I think they both are looking forward to her growing up and playing catch a little more!
They also DANCED!  Lily was so happy while they danced!  She tries to get everyone to dance with her as soon as any music is turned on!
We had so much fun this weekend!  We wish we had visitors more often.  So here is the invite for anyone who would like to come out this summer or any time!  We would love to have you come and we guarantee a great time!
