Lets Go Fly A Kite!

This past Saturday was such a nice day that we decided to go on a picnic and test out our kite since there was a little wind. It was crazy to see how people get so excited about a kite. We were taking it out of the package and a little boy came running to be part of the excitement. Then while we were flying it a man came over and gave us advice on how we could make it fly better. All the while, everyone that walked by made a comment on the kite. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun flying our kite!

The Blue Angel!

Gandpa Warner - what an amazing man!

I grew up twenty minutes from my Grandpa and Grandma Warner, so when I found out that Grandpa had passed away I was very shocked and very sad. With these emotions also came a calming that he was with Grandma again and that he didn't have to wait very long to be reunited with her. I love both of them dearly and miss them both, but I know that I will get to see them again. Grandpa is a wonderful man. He is a Spiritual Giant. When you are around him, you are filled with the Spirit. He loves the Lord and lived his Testimony through his whole life. Grandpa played a very big part in the gaining of my Testimony as well. I am so grateful to have a Father who is exactly like my Grandfather! I will always remember the Sundays spent at there home as a young child and Grandpa scooping ice cream cones for us to snack on. I will also remember the smile on his face when he saw his family. No matter where you would see Grandpa he always had a smile on his face, but it got a little bigger whenever he saw one of his family members come walking up the sidewalk to the front door. I am very blessed because of such a wonderful family!

A Quick trip to Idaho!

So the beginning of April came with a shock. I got a phone call April 4th that my Grandpa Warner had passed away. This meant a quick trip to Idaho. It was a very sad and shocking time, but it is always nice that we can find comfort and happiness in our families. I do find so much love and joy in my family. While I was there, TJ was unable to come due to work, I got to spend some much enjoyed time with my wonderful nephew and niece. Payton can put a smile on anyones face at any time. I love it when he says, "I love you Megan." It just brightens my day! I also love to hold my new beautiful niece, and boy is she getting big! My family is amazing!
Payton had a long wait with the family as we ate out at Texas Road House, so he found many things to do. He held his cousin Zoe, had just about everyone opening peanuts for him to eat, and running back and forth through the waiting room. The entertainment made the wait a little easier.

Go Braves! or Rockies!

For our anniversary I gave TJ tickets to the Rockies vs. Braves game. He has been a Braves fan since he was two years old. We had great seats right in left field. We were right by the "bull pin," the place the pitchers warm up. It was a lot of fun. We do enjoy going to Rockies games to cheer for the Rockies so this time we were cheering for a good game. It was a really good game and TJ got to see all his Braves play a good game. The Rockies won, but maybe next time Braves!

We were so close to the Rockies pitchers we could have played catch with them!

Jeff Francoeur is one of the best outfielders according to TJ. I don't know much about baseball, just all the starting players for the Rockies!

Our 1st Anniversary

Yesterday we celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary! It was such a wonderful day. We enjoyed watching conference and then TJ made a candle lit dinner. He made stake and snow crab and shrimp. It was a nice treat. I have really enjoyed our first year of marriage and I am looking forward to eternity with the love of my life! I love you TJ so much! You have made me the luckiest girl ever. You have made all my dreams come true! I can't wait to see what the future holds!
