Sharing the Gospel using the Internet

Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles wrote an article in the July Ensign encouraging members to use the internet to share the gospel. TJ and I just finished reading the Book of Mormon together and so I thought it was a great time to take Elder Ballard's advice. I love the Book of Mormon and I really enjoy reading from it. Each time that TJ and I read, I find myself learning something new, especially when we sit and talk about what we are reading. It is amazing to see the effect that reading from this book has on both members of the Church and non members alike. Our ward has many new converts and those that are investigating. To hear them speak about the Book of Mormon is amazing. I encourage anyone that reads this entry to read or reread this beautiful book. It strengthens families. It strengthens testimony. It changes lives! Also I would challeng everyone to once in a while use the internet to share the Gospel.

Camping at Wellington Lake!

So for the first time since we got married, TJ and I went camping and got to use all our fun toys. We got camping gear for our wedding and we can finally say that we have used it. We went with another couple in our ward. It was a beautiful place to camp. Colorado is full of beautiful places to visit that are so close to Denver!

I was so amazed at how gorgeous the lake was. I love to be out in nature and enjoy the beauty and the quiet. I would suggest this place to anyone that was looking for a great place to camp.

After we left camp we went to a town right outside of Denver called Evergreen. It is a fun little touristy town. It is also known for the famous Colorado Pizza found at BeauJo's. We have been told that we have to go there and try the pizza, so we finally did. It was pretty good. We can now say that we have been to BeauJo's! It was a fun little trip.

Fondue Fun

So it only took us over a year to use our fun fondue sets. We had some friends come over to share in our experience. We planned to have a meat fondue and a chocolate one for dessert. Well about an hour before our friends were coming we found out that one of the sets needed a different fuel. I set out to find the fuel but ended up buying a new set. Now the next time we do fondue we can do meat, cheese, and chocolate. It was a lot of fun and super easy to do.
