Aunt Ninee comes to Visit!

Lily LOVES her aunt "Ninee" (as Lily calls her)! This is her second trip out to visit and Lily clung right to her just like the first time! Lily would wake up calling for Ninee in the morning and go to bed calling for Ninee to give her a kiss! These two are very close! We were all excited to have Tiff come and visit us! It was a quick trip, but we still had a great time! Saturday we went down to Colorado Springs and had some fun. We went to Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods. It was a great weekend!
This is Lily on the trip down to the Springs. This is a very typical sight to see in our car! The sunglasses, aka GaGas, hat and book go almost everywhere with us! She is too cute in this picture and so I had to share!
These are the Anasazi Cliff Dwellilng at Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings! That may sound a little odd, but the park is call the Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings, but they are built by the Anasazi people way back when! It was pretty cool to see! All the doors were a few feet up from the ground with a few holes in the structure to climb up! These people had to be so tiny! Everything was quite small there.

After the Cliff Dwellings, we went into the little town and walked around. It was a fun little town to explore! We had some great pizza and some really yummy ice cream. As we were walking around, Lily feel asleep. She feel asleep with her sippy cup in her mouth. As I went to take the picture, the sippy cup feel to the ground! It is still a great sleeping picture! Unfortunately this is the only picture from Manitou Springs. I will tell you one funny story. They have this store that has mineral water to sample. We went in and were going to sample it thinking that it was spring water, not mineral water! Well, it was disgusting! If only you had seen our faces! We decided that it would be fun to sit and watch people all day at that store! Every time you get the same reaction! Mineral water tastes just like it smells and that is not pleasant at all!
Then we went to Garden of the Gods! Lily drug Tiff around the place having so much fun! It was so much fun to watch the pair walk and explore together!

We had a great weekend with Tiff! We would gladly welcome any visitors that want to come and visit! We have lots of space and lots of fun things to do and explore!

Check out that Form!

Lily is enjoying our lawn very much! At least once a day she begs to "outside?" She loves to take out her golf clubs and her tee ball set to play. We also enjoy sidewalk chalk and taking walks and running! It is so nice to have a place to let her run and play in the fresh air where I don't have to drive there to do so! One of Lily's favorite activities is golf - she gets that from her dad among other things! She is really getting good at it too! She can hit the ball pretty good. TJ figures that golf is a great way to get a scholarship for college and it looks like we have a natural golfer on our hands! I am sure that he will be taking Lily on the course with in the next few year to start practicing! Just a few shots of Lily taking a swing! Enjoy!

Notice how our lawn is so much GREENER than the neighbors! Both side neighbors have told us they envy our lawn! We inherited a very beautiful lawn! I am sure that next summer it wont look this good! I have to learn the previous owners secret soon! I only brag about it because I did nothing to make it so nice and I am sure it wont look like this for long! That is unless I inherited my mom's green thumb?! We will see how it looks at the end of the summer along with all the other plants I am now in charge of keeping alive!

So Many Places to Play!

Lily has so many places to play in our new house! She is in Heaven! The other day she decided that it would be great to play in the shelving by the fireplace. Since we came from an apartment and don't have enough stuff to fill our house, Lily has lots of empty places to play! This is a favorite for now! She is so fun to watch! She finds all kinds of places to play and have fun! Other favorites are the shower in our room, the big empty space that will be a formal dining room, the stair railing and the sliding glass door!

Perfect fit! Isn't it great to be a kid!
