Utah Trip

A few weeks ago, we headed to Utah for 10 days.  The reason for the trip was for TJ and me to get our eyes lasered!  We are both very happy with the way it turned out!  We are seeing great and no more glasses or contacts for us!  TJ left half way through to go on a business trip so the kids and I stayed and hung out.  We were able to see a lot of our family!  It is hard to be so far away because we don't get to see them all that often.  So we try to see as much family as we can when we come to town.

So we left on Wednesday night to fly to Utah.  That night there was a really big storm here in Denver.  The storm lead to the delay of our flight by 3 hours.  The plane we were supposed to catch was diverted to Salt Lake.  We were a little sad to know that we had to wait for our flight to land in SLC and then turn around and come pick us up.  What matters is that we made it safely to SLC!
The kids did great on the flight and with the delay. Lily enjoyed some coloring!
 Logan enjoyed some ball!
And then they both took a nap!  This lead to them being wide awake on the flight which took off around 1am!  At least they were very happy on the flight!  And quiet for those people who did sleep!
Thursday was TJ's birthday!  He was able to go golfing with his dad in the morning.  When they were finished we met them in Heber at the Homestead.  It was such a fun little getaway!

We did a lot of swimming!  The kids were in heaven while they went from person to person swimming in both the outside and inside pools!

After we swam, we headed to dinner at a local pizza place.  It was great!  Logan enjoyed it as you can see!  Once we got back to the Homestead, we put the kids to bed and then played games.  It was a great time!

On Saturday we had lunch and then went to get frozen yogurt before we headed to visit Grandma and Grandpa Goble!
 4 Generations

Sunday we had a great reason to celebrate!  My brother Brian blessed his little boy!  This was our first time meeting him!  He is such a cute little guy!  Congrats Brian and Debbie!  Thank you for making it possible for us to be a part of this special day!  We were also excited to  be able to see Grandma and Grandpa Warner!  The kids sure have fun with them!  I didn't get any pictures, which I am sad about.

Then on Monday we went out to meet my sisters new little guy!  She was so kind and had him early so we could meet him!  She was scheduled to have him 2 days after we left, but he decided to make an entrance the day we flew in so we could meet him! Congrats Kim and David and Cody!
Both of our new nephews are so adorable and doing so great!

Lily loved holding her little cousins!  She sure is super cute with them too!
Because TJ and I had our eyes done, we had many visits to Grandpa Gray's office to have our eyes checked.  Lily and Logan had so much fun during these visits!
Logan would run for Doc, one of the seven dwarfs, and they would both get excited for the cookies Grandpa keeps for the grandkids!

We also made a trip to the Thanksgiving Point Farm.  This was Logan's first time.  They had a great time looking at the animals and exploring!

Lily rode the pony all by herself!  I was so proud of her!  She loved it too!
And Logan had fun waving to his sister!

Lily was a pro at brushing the horse!

Then the day we were flying out, Lily convinced Grandma to take her to get her nails done!  She loves to get pampered just like her mom!
And Logan didn't mind eating a sucker while mom had her toes done!

We had a good time in Utah.  We were happy to be home and see Daddy!  We love spending time with family.  Thanks to everyone that made our time fun!
