Future Baseball Fan!

We were lucky enough to get some really good seats to the Rockies vs. Dodgers game this past Friday. TJ's boss got some tickets and gave them to TJ. We invited our friends the Yuens and had a great night. We sat in the Club level where you could order your food from your seat! Anyways, this was Lily's first baseball game! We bought her a hat before she was even born so she would have one for her first game. She looks so cute in it! She did such a great job. She stayed up way past her bedtime! We got back to the car at around 11pm and she was still her fun loving self. Her little friend Cora had a great time playing with Lily too! It was a super fun night and we can't wait to go back to more games...especially when it warms up a little more!

Cora wanted to borrow Lily's hat. She looks super cute in it too!

Let's Play in the SNOW!

April showers bring May flowers...no one said they were going to be SNOW showers! What a Spring we are having! This was our 2nd big snow storm of April. I guess we had Spring in February and March and now we are having Winter! Well actually since this snow storm a couple of weeks ago the weather has been more typical for Spring. We decided to make the most of what we were given. This was Lily's first time to play in the snow since she was too little during most of Winter. She wasn't quite sure what was going on. We took her out while it was snowing. It was fun to watch her face as huge snowflakes fell and made her face wet! We watched as Dad made a super fun snowman.
My two most favorite people! I just love when little kids are all bundled up.
Lily was having a great time watching her dad make the snowman.
My hat came all the way from Peru to keep me warm...thanks to TJ's trip there a year ago!

EASTER!

Easter in our house was fun. We used Easter as an excuse to buy some big girl toys for Lily because she was too small at Christmas to enjoy them. We also enjoyed coloring eggs. I am so grateful for the Easter Season. I know it is easy to get caught up in the commercial part of it, but it is so much more! I am so grateful for my Savior and the Resurrection. I am able to be with my wonderful family because of my Savior. He atoned for my sins so I could repent and be made clean. He was crucified and resurrected so that I could be resurrected and return into the presence of my Heavenly Father. I Love my Savior!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Gray for the Easter package! As you can see Lily sure loves her new movie!
GO BYU! You know you are a true fan when you decorate your Easter egg with the Y!
I made a special egg for Lily!

I'M A BIG GIRL NOW!

My baby is growing way too fast. She has started to move all over the place. She isn't crawling yet, but she manages to get to what she wants. She also loves to stand and really enjoys doing so by herself! I have to help her up, but then she will stay there for quite a while. She is only 6 months old...too old to be on her way to mobility! I do enjoy watching her explore the world and discover new things. She is so pure and innocent! She helps me appreciate all the little things life has to offer!
I just love this picture of her!
"Look mom, only one hand! Soon I will be running all over the place and laughing at you chasing me!"

She looks so big sitting on the end of the couch! I love her little toes hanging off the edge!

TAGGIE and LILY

When I took Lily to the Pediatrician for her 6 month check-up, I mentioned something about how Lily will find the tag on any toy and stick it in her mouth. The doctor told me about a taggie that her son has and loves. She said they were pretty pricey but should be easy to make. So I went to work and made Lily one! She likes it but doesn't love it. She will play with it for a while and then move on to other toys. It was fun and easy to make!

I LOVE MY DAD!

There is no doubt that this little girl loves her dad! Every night when TJ walks through the door Lily is fixed on him. I love to see her so attached to her dad! If he leaves the room, she follows with him with her eyes and waits for him to come back. They are really good friends and enjoy each other a lot. Here are just a few of cute pictures of the two!
Lily takes her love of books from her dad. He reads to her all the time. He also reads to me! I thought it was so cute when he was reading our book and she was just laying there enjoying the story about the Steed family! I hope her love for books continues...minus the part where she likes to eat them when she is done reading them!
GO BRAVES! Lily loves to play with dad's hats. She looks so adorable in them too!
This is the first time that Lily went for Dad's hat! It was fun to see her discover how much fun a hat is to play with!

6 MONTHS OLD!

Lily turned 6 month old on April 1st! I can hardly believe how big she is getting! I just love every day with her. She is such a fun and happy little girl and so adorably cute! These are her 6 month pictures we had done. They were all too cute not to share.
Lily loves her books...just like her dad. She loves to hold them while you read to her and then she lets go when she wants you to turn the page. Sometimes they do end up in her mouth, but she surely loves to read them even more than eat them. I love how good she is sitting on the little chair. She sat there without tipping for about 5 minutes!
Of course Lily loves it when you throw her in the air and catch her. I love her little smile as she is enjoying the flight!
She has been sitting up since February! She rolls from her back to her tummy and from her tummy to her back! We went to the Doctor the other day and she is growing great! She is almost 27 inches tall! I can't believe how tall she is. Her height is in the 82% and her weight is in the 66% so she sure is long and lean, with a little bit of baby chubbiness!
"WOW! What are these? Can I get them in my mouth too?" Lily doesn't have many shoes and none that fit her right now, so she was trying to figure out what was on her foot. These shoes are so cute I had to put her in them even though they are still a little big.
Such a sweet little girl! She smiles at everyone. She loves to talk through the prayers at Church. She loves to discover everything, especially if it can fit in her mouth. She sleeps like a champ! She loves eating her baby food, her favorite being rice cereal and peas. She loves to swing at the park and watch all the other kids. She loves to go for walks in her stroller and watch the cars go by. She LOVES music! She sings with me or the TV. During Conference we had it playing in the other room and the Tabernacle Choir started to sing and she was searching everywhere for where it was coming from. She also loves to watch Baby Mozart but not Baby Bach! I love that she already has a preferences! She also loves her dad and follows him with her eyes everywhere he goes.

The Photographer that took her pictures kept saying that she was so cute and he could take her pictures all day long. Of course I agreed! She is super cute and so well behaved. When we were done, he asked if he could use this picture in his competition coming up. I said yes and then he told me that it would be hanging in the studio as well. When they are done with the picture they will give it to us in the frame. Also if the photo is picked at the competition, it will be published and we will get to have a copy of the magazine! It was just fun to have someone tell me how beautiful my baby is and that he wanted to use the picture! I always say that the best compliment that I could ever get is to hear something good about my children! Not to brag, but Lily sure is beautiful! Thanks TJ for helping her to look like you!

This little girl loves to stand. She would let you hold her up all day! Please wait until you are older to actually walk. I want my baby to stay a baby for a while longer before turning into a toddler!

Happy Anniversary!

TJ and I are celebrating our second anniversary today! I just love being married to my best friend. TJ makes everything so much better! These two years have really flown by. We have been able to enjoy so many different experiences together. From Wisconsin to Utah and now to Colorado, we have been able to make so many wonderful memories. Now we have a beautiful little girl, Lily, who just adds to the LOVE in our lives. I can only imagine how wonderful the rest of Eternity will be!
I love you TJ with all of my heart! Thank you for making all my dreams come true! I love spending all the time I can with you. You truly are my very best friend! I love you!
So this morning I got up and went into the living room where I found this sweet note written in COTTON! The 2nd Anniversary is the cotton anniversary so TJ was so creative and wrote me this great note using it!
