HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILY!

It is so incredible just how fast a year can fly by! Lily is 1 today! I can't believe my baby is no longer a little baby! She is now an adorable walking, somewhat talking little girl! TJ and I are so blessed to be her parents! She is truly a blessing from Heaven in our lives. She has a smile that melts our hearts. She is the happiest person and so much fun to be around! She is also very smart. I don't know how I got so lucky, but I am glad I did!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILY! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Lily's Birthday Party

It is hard to believe that Lily will be one! I feel like it was yesterday that we were bringing her home from the Hospital! While we were in Utah we decided to celebrate with family. We had a great time. Thanks to everyone that came to help us celebrate this super special little girl!
This is the cake I made. It was a lot of fun to do. It was the first time I used fondant...it was a lot easier than I thought it would be!
It's my party and I'll sleep if I want too! Lily didn't want to take her nap because there was so much going on, so she decided to take her nap during her party! Grandpa Gray has the special touch!
Some of our guests...Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Goble came! These are TJ's grandparents. We also have Grandma Gray and Cassie and Marci
Great Grandma Gray talking to Grandma Warner, my mom, and Neva
Some of our friends from Utah. TJ went to school with Tim. They both married a Megan! No wonder they are both so happy!
Tiff and Morgan
Brian and Debbie and a cousin to come in November!
Lily and Cody. Hopefully next time they will actually get to play together like planned!
So typical of Lily! As soon as we opened the first book in her presents she was ready to stop!
Lily got a lot of fun new toys and some super cute clothes! Thanks everyone for all the great presents! A special thanks to Zoey the best present helper! You can see her making sure Lily got good toys! She also did a good job handing Lily her presents!
Singing Happy Birthday...Lily was amused by everyone singing.
The best part of the whole party for Lily...getting to eat cake! So I was going to make her her own little cake, but that didn't happen like planned! She still loved her cupcake and ate it all!
Here mom do you want some? I will share!
Our little girl is so good at sharing everything, even when you don't want it! We love you Lily!

Fun at the Farm

This last weekend we went to Utah so TJ could play in the Gilmore Tournament, a golf tourney with a bunch of friends and family. He did great! He won closest to the pin on one of the holes and came home with a pretty nice prize! He also won his individual match and a pair of nice shades! Most importantly he had a really great time and was glad to be golfing! While he golfed, we played! On Thursday Grandma Gray took Lily and her cousin Wyatt to Thanksgiving point to ride the pony! Lily LOVED the whole farm! she loved seeing the animals and being on the pony! We need to work on holding onto the pony, but she is not quite 1 yet so we will forgive her! Grandma was having so much fun with her grand kids! We also took them for pictures together! And for me...a trip is not complete without Cafe Rio, so everyone was kind enough to sacrifice and go there for lunch! We also went shopping in Park City! Those are the highlights of our trip! We will leave the ER and Walmart out of our story! All that we will say is everyone is doing great!
Lily and Grandma having fun looking at the horses.
I love this shot of the two of them looking at the baby chicks! It was so much fun to watch their excitement!
Looking at the billy goats...I think Lily wanted to go and play with them!
Want a rock?

I Wonder What I can Find...

Lily is a very determined little girl. When she wants something she stops at nothing to get it!
Hunting.....
Found the bag! What will I find?
WOW! Now I have a good view...I spotted the target!
Yes! Got the bag on the floor...Now I can reach it better...
Score! I got my animal crackers! I am now a happy girl! If only I could get them out of here! Where is mom?

Saint Elmo Colorado

For Labor day we headed to Saint Elmo, Colorado with some friends. Saint Elmo is one of Colorado's Ghost Mine Towns. It was founded in 1800's. It is one of the most preserved Ghost towns in the West! It was hidden in the mountains and absolutely gorgeous. We had a great day enjoying the beauty of nature. On the way there we stopped to buy some super yummy jerky. Lily really liked chewing on it. It kept her busy for quite a while! Also you can see that she is sitting in her new big girl car seat! It is so hard to believe that my baby is growing up so fast!
This is one of the beautiful views we saw while we walked around St. Elmo.
This is part of the main downtown. The town at one point had over 2,000 people! I love that the leaves had already started changing colors when we went. I love to see the leaves change in the fall.
The cute little Gray family on the bridge that separates the two parts of town. Lily really enjoyed walking around.
