Visitors and a Jazz game!

We were blessed to have Nate, Allie, Wyatt, and Graycie visit one Saturday this month. They were in town to attend a baby blessing in Nate's family, but were able to stop by to play for a while. We loved being able to have them here to play. We're so glad that they stopped in.

For Christmas, my sister, Tiff, hooked us up with some Jazz v. Nuggets tickets at the Pepsi Center. The Jazz played well for a half and then pretty much gave up for the second, so they got blown out. It was so great to go to the game. It's been a while since we got to do something like that, so thanks so much Tiff. You're the best!

We wore our Jazz gear to the game. Needless to say, that was upsetting to a few of the Nuggets fans around us.

Bike Riding

We are currently enjoying very nice temperatures for January.  We are trying to take advantage of the nice weather and get outside.  We took the kids out to ride their bikes.  This is the first time they have been able to ride outside.  We have a little speed demon on our hands!  Lily loves to ride her bike and she loves to go as fast as she can!  Logan is still learning how to ride his bike.  It wont be long before we have two speed demons!  I love to see my kids enjoy their childhood!  They are growing up way too fast!

Apples and Broncos

Living in Denver, we are surrounded by Broncos mania.  We can't say we are die hard Bronco fans, but we do enjoy following them.  Since they made the playoffs, we decided we would watch the game with the kids.  Both had a great time watching the game while they had an apple.  These two LOVE apples and will eat them all the time if I let them.  Logan eats the entire apple, core and all.  As we watched the game, Lily was saying some pretty funny things!  She was really into the game!  We laughed each time she would say something!  She is so adorable!

Lily's take on the game....

Lily, "Dad, do you remember when Colorado (the Broncos) tackled the raisin (Ravens)!" we have a little Bronco fan in the making!

Lily, "Dad stop. Your arm is in my way. I can't see the game!"

Lily, "Another touch down for the Raisins, come on Colorado! You can do it. You have always played this game!"

Lily, "The Raisins aren't good at that game are they Dad!"

Lily, "Oh, SWEET! The Colorado team got it! Now score! You can do it!"

Lily, "The Cougars (YES she confuses any of her favorite teams with the BYU Cougars) have more touchdowns than the Raisins!"

Lily, "Go Colorado! Go Colorado! Oh. The Raisins got the ball. I was saying Go Colorado because I wanted them to get the ball but the Raisins got it."

Lily, "Oh just forget it! Just quit giving the ball to the Raisins.!"

Lily, "Oh man! That's not good." (The Broncos lost in the last seconds of the game)

A Hat and a Broom!

I can't say it enough, I LOVE MY KIDS!  They make life so much fun!

Logan...He is very into Cars and Toy Story.  Due to this fact, he has many things that have to do with these two movies.  He got a hat with Lightning McQueen and Mater on it from his Grandma Warner.  This said hat is a beloved article of clothing.  When we are ready to leave, regardless of the weather, he runs to the closet and starts to say, "Car" over and over again until you give it to him.  He has also been know to just put it on and wear it around the house.  The other morning TJ was playing with them and Logan had to wear it while they played!  He is just too cute!

Lily...She has an imagination like no other!  She is always thinking up new songs to sing or new and exciting adventures to go on.  The other day we went and bought new helmets for the kids so we could ride bikes outside.  When we came home, Lily took it upon her to fight the bad guys with the broom.  She loves the idea of being a Super Hero and saving the world from evil!  She is a mighty good Super Hero!  I am glad she protects us from evil!

Snow Painting

After several days of freezing temperatures, we finally got some warmer weather!  I decided to let the kids paint the snow before it melted.  They had a great time!  It was a good thing we did it in the early morning because it was all melted by the time Daddy got home from work.

Sledding!!!

After an unusually warm start to Winter, we finally had some snow to use our sled in!  The kids were so excited to get all bundled up and go out to play!  TJ pulled the kids up and down the road while I took a ton of pictures!  They were screaming with joy the whole time!  I love to see my kids so happy!  As soon as they would get down the hill they wanted to go again!  Most of the time TJ just ran next to the sled to steer it because it was going so fast!  Hopefully we get some more snow so we can make a snowman!
