Our Lily Girl!

We sure LOVE our Lily Girl!  She keeps us laughing with things she says.  She is really growing up fast!  She has already mastered one of her bikes!  Last summer she could peddle but had a hard time with the steering.  Now she is a pro!  She is also a very talented artist!  She will draw and color for hours!  She is also very creative and will make up stories to tell you or songs to sing you.  We sure do love our Lily Girl!

Uncle Jeff and Aunt Marci Visit

We were lucky enough to have TJ's sister Marci and her husband Jeff come visit us for a long weekend!  They drove from Oklahoma on Thursday getting in after the kids went to bed.  TJ was still out of town so on Friday we partied without him.  In the morning Lily was super excited they were here!  She immediately wanted to play every toy she had with them!  When I asked her what she wanted to do with them she responded with , just play.  Then I said where is somewhere you would like to go with them.  She quickly said, "YoCraze."  I told her we had to wait for Daddy to go there.  So we decided upon the Butterfly Pavilion.  So we made a stop on the way at Cafe Rio for lunch and then headed to the Butterfly Pavilion.  We had a great time playing and seeing all the creepy and pretty things they had!

Checking out all the crawling critters with Aunt Marc

I AM SO PROUD OF MY THREE YEAR OLD!!!!!  So she came up to me and said she wanted to hold Rosy.  I was really nervous because I didn't want to do it with her and TJ wasn't there to do it.  I asked Jeff and Marci if they would do it with her.  Both were just as nervous to do it as I was.  Well, my brave little three year old did it all by herself and LOVED every minute of it!  She was so excited that she got to hold Rosy,  "Because Rosy is a nice tarantula and doesn't hurt you!"  So yes, the THREE year old was the ONLY one to hold Rosy!

Trying to get a butterfly to land on her

Aunt Marc scored MAJOR points with Lily as she got a butterfly to land on Lily!  Lily was so extremely happy in that moment!

She even showed her brother while keeping the butterfly a safe distance away from destruction!

When we got home, Lily and Logan enjoyed some more play time with Jeff and Marci.  They were both so happy to have new playmates!
Friday night after the kids went to bed, TJ got home from being gone for a week.  Friday night was spent watching some March Madness and visiting.  Then Saturday morning, I had a baby shower for a dear friend and so the rest of the crew headed to one of our new FAVORITE parks to play and have a picnic.  As you can tell they had a great time playing!

After the park, they headed over to the bowling alley and played some arcade games until I met them for some bowling!

After we were done bowling, I think Jeff schooled us!, we headed to show our guests the ROYAL TREATMENT!  You guessed it, YoCRAZE!  We all enjoyed A LOT of frozen yogurt goodness!  Then we headed home for some beef tenderloin on the grill, DELICIOUS!!!!!!!  After dinner and putting the kids to bed, we played some games and had a great last night with Marci and Jeff!

Sunday morning was a little rough for Lily.  She told me before our guests left that, "Marci and Jeff should stay with us forever!"  She really had a great time with them, as did we, and was very sad to see them leave.  We sure did have a great weekend with them!  Thanks for coming to visit!  We welcome you any time you want to come!  Or anyone else that wants to visit!

100% ALL BOY!

Logan is 100% all boy!  If he isn't climbing on something, throwing a ball or playing with cars, he is eating, sleeping, or cuddling.  His absolute favorite two things are to play on the stairs and climb in or on top of EVERYTHING!  If I leave him for even 30 seconds, unattended, I quickly hear Lily calling to me because Logan is getting on top of something and is going to get hurt.  This handful handsome keeps me on my toes!
So this little race track goes around and around.  Logan loves to put the cars down the ramp and watch them spin around the center.  He must have thought it looked like too much fun to not try it himself!  I have found him a couple of times trying to climb in.  Usually I get him out before he gets himself all the way in, well this time he made it in first.  So I grabbed the camera to capture his pure delight that he finally made it inside the track!  To his disappointment, it didn't spin him around and around!

I went to put something in the other room and came back to find Logan like this.  He had climbed onto the chair and then onto the table in about 15 seconds!  He is trouble!

And this is where I find him if he is not climbing onto the table while I make dinner.  He will play toys, read books or just climb up and down the stairs.
On this particular day he was reading books.  I just love that he had his little legs crossed and was leaning against the wall!  Nothing like a comfy spot to read a good book.
