Easter

We had a great Easter this year!  The Easter Bunny did come and Lily was so excited that he did!  Usually she comes into our room when she wakes up in the morning.  Well Easter morning, we didn't hear her wake up at all.  The first sounds we hear of her were from downstairs as she found Logan's basket and was eating candy.  Not even her own candy, but her brothers.  Yes the bunny left Logan some candy for him to share with mom and dad!  Lily must have thought that he needed help too and that she could always come back and eat hers later!  Because of this she had to wait until after Church to look for where the Bunny left her basket!
We also had a great lesson about Christ and the Resurrection with Lily.  We made sure that she knew that it was Jesus that made Easter special, not the Easter Bunny.
We are so blessed by the Atonement and Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.  It is because of him that we can be an Eternal Family and live with our Father in Heaven again!   What a blessing that knowledge is in our lives!  We are Eternally grateful for our Savior and all he has freely given to us!

April in Pictures!

It is hard to believe that April is almost over!  It seems like I just finished updating March and it is almost June! Lily still loves Logan and enjoys playing with him, what little she can!  She always says, "When Logan gets bigger he will play ________ with me!" or "When Logan gets bigger he will sit here and eat dinner with us!"  She sure looks forward to him getting big!  She is great at sharing toys with him and she has taken it upon herself to be the Logan "Pink" finder!  The Logan "Pink" finder is the one who finds his Binky and gives it to him.  I love that she calls it his "Pink!"  She is turning into such a big kid these days!  She will bargain with us over everything using the phrase, "How does that sound?"  Lily also has a great imagination!  She is always playing pretend with these elaborate story lines.  She loves to play like she is a lion, especially when she can chase her friends while doing so!  She is learning so much every day!  She is associating words with letters, her favorites being, "L is for Lily and Logan! and M is for Mommy and Megan and T is for TJ!"  She is also getting very good at coloring inside the lines!  We had a lady the other day amazed at how well she does especially for how old she is!  Those are proud Mommy moments!
For now here are some pictures of things we have been doing!  Enjoy!

The other morning while I was getting ready, Lily was playing with her sticker books!  Since they weren't sticking to the pages anymore, she thought they would do better in her hair!

When Logan was born, Lily got to do swimming lessons with Dad on Saturday mornings!  She got a new swimsuit too!  She was so excited!  I think we heard the request for swimming or swimming lessons once a week since her last swim session!  The last day I went and took pictures of the event.  She is always so happy in the water!

While at the park the last time, she mastered the climbing wall!  I tried to get a picture of her sideways, as that was the first way she climbed up it!  By the time I got the camera over to her she had mastered the proper way of climbing!  She is getting more and more daring as she gets older!
Lily shared her sock monkey with Logan.  Every time she shares a toy with him, she is careful not to put it over his face!  This makes for a happy mom!
Logan is starting to smile!  This is one of my favorites!  I love when you can tell that he is smiling at you and not because of any other reason!  He is also starting to flirt with girls he likes!  He has already started to work on his charming girl getting skills!  I just hope that I can deal with it when he is older and charming girls!
On Saturday we went to the Zoo with some friends!  Lily had such a great time running around with the other kids and looking at the animals!  We also love when Dad can come with us since most of the time it is just Mom and Lily during the week!  It was also Logan's first time to the Zoo!  He slept right through it!

I had to share this one last picture of Lily sharing her doll!  Her Abby doll is almost the same size as Logan!  I think every time I place Logan in his bouncer, Lily shares one of her toys with him!  What a loving sister!

The Last Month at the Gray House

It is hard to believe that it has been a little over a month since we brought Logan home from the hospital!  It has been a good month for our family!  We have sure enjoyed our little guy.  Lily is a great big sister and a super helper!  We sure love our little family!
Lily loves to help feed her baby brother his bottles.  She also loves to give him his, "pink," as she calls it.  She loves to pick out his pjs and she especially loves to share her toys with him.  She also talks about when he gets bigger that they will play together.

Our little guy loves to be swaddled, but I have caught him sleeping just like his sister used to sleep a couple of times!

Lily loves to dance with her dad when he comes home from work.  The other night they included Logan in the dancing!  It was so much fun to watch the three of them and see the smiles!
We have had some great weather here and have taken advantage of it!  At our house we love to play with sidewalk chalk and bubbles.  Lily is getting pretty good at blowing the bubbles this year!  She sure is growing up fast!

This shirt is the motto for our little man until he is at least 21!
Lily loves to paint.  A few times she has gotten into my paints and painted things like her golf clubs or herself.  So when we were at the craft store the other day we picked out a bird house and she got to use mom's paints to paint it!  She thought that was pretty cool since she usually gets in trouble if she uses mom's paints!  She did a great job.  She wanted it to be three colors mixed together and that is what we got!  She was so careful about her painting.  She is very proud of her bird house and cant wait for birds to move in!

Just last night, Lily decided that she needed a tail!  She took her shirt and placed it in her pj's and danced around with her tail!  I was laughing so much.  Oh the things she comes up with all on her own!
This is one of the many times I have found stuffed animals in with Logan.  Lily is great at sharing her toys with him.  She is also great at going into his room and playing with his things so I guess it is only fitting for her to share with him too!

Happy Anniversary to Us!

We have been married for 4 years now!  WOW! a lot has changed over the past 4 years!  Since we got married, TJ graduated from BYU, we made our home in Colorado,  I went from a working lady to a stay at home moma, we added 2 kids to the mix, and bought our first home just to mention a few!  To celebrate we went out to dinner Lily free, thanks to a great friend!, and did a little shopping.  It was great to have an uninterrupted conversation with TJ and just spend some time together!  TJ is so thoughtful about his gifts.  This year he gave me four flowers of a bunch of different kinds!  He included my favorites, the gerbers  and our wedding flowers, the lillies!
I Love my husband so much!  I am thankful to him for everything he does for our family.  He works so hard to take care of us.  He is an amazing father and my best friend!  I am so excited about the future with him!
