Karaoke

These are from my company's annual incentive trip - this year it was in San Diego. One of the highlights was a karaoke night where everyone participated. Enjoy!

My Wife

Work has been super-busy lately -- blame the Affordable Care Act for that one. During this time, I have definitely had to spend more time away from my family than any of us would like. I just want to take this opportunity to let everyone know what a wonderful wife I have been blessed with. Rather than complain about this, she has done everything in her power to remain positive and supportive, even as Logan wreaks havoc on the house.

Megan is an amazing mom, a patient and supportive wife, and an all-around "dynamite gal." I am so blessed. Thanks, Love.

Daily Life!

Our house can get a little crazy most days!  The kids are full of spunk and lots of personality!  Here are some of the moments that have made me smile the past few weeks!
Logan wears his cowboy boots with EVERYTHING!

Lily got her hair cut and she wanted to model the new look!
She got a glitter heart on her cheek when she got her hair cut.  she rubbed most off on the way home, but she still wanted to take a picture to capture what was left of the heart!
Lily is so creative!  While she was taking stickers off of a new shirt, she decided to make herself a watch!  I thought it was amazing!
We went to the park the other day to get some much needed energy out!  These two love to play together!

My monkey!  She is climbing and swinging on everything!

This is one of my favorites!

I went to check on the kids one night and this is what I found!  Logan was wearing Lily's shoes and was out cold on the floor in front of the door.
Lily was asleep with one foot hanging off the bed!
The warm weather has been nice!  (Even though it is snowing as I type!)  The kids want to get out every second they can!  While Daddy was grilling dinner the other night, Logan decided to try some dirt!  He also tried rocks.  Both not as good as Daddy's yummy dinner!

Lily was playing Queen of the castle!
I love the many Mickey Mouse stickers on her dress!

6 Wonderful Years

In some ways it seems like I just got married yesterday.  In other ways it feels like I never lived without TJ.  He is the most amazing man I know!  His parents did an amazing job raising my perfect match!  He is my better half!  It didn't take me long to know he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of eternity with!  The past six years have been full of amazing experiences and great memories!  I thought I was getting lucky when I got married, but I had no idea just how lucky I was!  I know TJ loves me regardless of how crazy I am!  I know he is always on my side!  I know that he thinks I am beautiful and he makes me feel like I am.  He would do anything for me!  He is my best friend!  I love him more than I ever thought possible! I am so blessed to have him in my life!  I cant wait to see what the next 6 years have in store for us!

To celebrate our Anniversary, TJ came home early on Friday to take me and the kids out for some family fun!  I was a little surprised when he came home early!  I thought someone was trying to get into my house.  I was very glad to see it was my amazing husband coming home early to surprise his family!  We went miniature golfing and then to Sam's 3 for dinner.  It was such a great surprise!

Logan played speed golf!  He would hit the ball and then run!   I don't think this kid stopped running the whole time!  He had such a fun time making TJ chase him!

Lily is getting better!  She was really into it this time!  She is already asking about the next time we get to go back!

I didn't take any pictures of our actual anniversary.  Saturday we spent the morning watching General Conference with the kids.  Then that evening we got a babysitter and TJ took me to a great restaurant, White Chocolate Grill, and it was amazing!  Then we went and did some shopping.  I love to spend time with my amazing husband!  I love him, I love him, I LOVE HIM!!!!!

Love these TWO!

Ever since I was a young girl, I wanted to be a mother.  I babysat many kids while I was younger and I loved them all!  But none of that prepared me for what motherhood would be like!  The moment Lily came into the world, I was overcome with a love that I can't begin to describe.  A love that continues to grow every day.  A little glimpse into Heaven and our Father in Heaven's love for us.  Even the days that I struggle with my abilities to be a mother, I feel an amazing love for these two!  I know that these two special spirits came from Heaven to give me the opportunity to feel my Heavenly Father's love in a new way!  I want only the best for these two.  I want to teach them all I can to help them be prepared for anything that may come their way.  I would do anything for these two.  I find myself thinking of their future and what it might hold.  As some youth in our Ward sang, "Armies of Heleman," at a Missionary farewell, I found myself all choked up thinking of the possibility of my two sweet kids serving missions. I see their greatness.  I feel their love for life and for their parents.  I know that I have been given a gift from Heaven and I want to be successful.  I want these two to know above all that they are Children of Heavenly Father, that they are loved, and that I will do all I can to provide them a safe haven from the world.  I am so blessed to have the opportunity to raise these two amazing kids!  I hope that I can be half the mom my mom is!

As I look at these pictures, I can't help but feel an amazing love for these two!  I love to see them enjoying life and getting messy!  It is in these moments that I am overcome with love and excitement for being a mom!  I know that this is a blessing from Heaven!  They are blessings from Heaven!
During lunch this past week, Logan started sticking his veggie sticks into his sandwich to make them stand up.
So proud of what he was doing!  Silly boy!
Lily wanted to create something with her lunch too...she came up with a face!
This little man climbs on and into EVERYTHING!  He has no fear!  Whenever he conquers, he gives you the biggest grins!

Our neighbors have a small trampoline that the kids got to jump on today.  The neighbor girls love these two and love to have them come play.  Lily and Logan are both huge fans of the trampoline!

Having a banana split after dinner.  I just love this messy face!  He warms my heart!

Lily is such an amazing big sister and gives the best hugs and kisses!  She makes me melt every time she comes up and for no reason at all gives me a hug and kiss.  She is so tender!
