When it is in the 60's in Jaunary...

We go out and play!  We have had such a mild winter with multiple days in the 60's!  I know we need more snow and I am fine with getting some as long as it is soon!  That way we might get Spring!  BUT, we are sure LOVING the warm days because we can get out of the house and be in the fresh air!  Today we tried out our new wagon that the kids got for Christmas!  They were both very excited to go for a ride!  We didn't go far but we has a great time none the less!  I am looking forward to the summer when we can load up in the wagon and go to the park and play!

When we made it home, we pulled out the bubbles and sidewalk chalk!  The bubbles were a huge hit with both the kids!  Lily had Logan laughing so hard!  I love the pure joy they experience when they play together!

Baby Lo!

We are sure LOVING watching "Baby Lo" grow up WAY to fast!  He is already 10 months and has such a fun personality!  He is into EVERYTHING!  And he thinks his sister is the BEST thing ever!  Whenever he sees her he just lights up!  Here are just a few pictures I love of our little growing man!
I was making dinner and he was getting under my feet so I put him in his chair and gave him something to chew on to help his teething (just so you don't think I am a horrible parent, it was a medical professional said it was good for teething!) and not five minutes later he crashed!
I also love that he refused to give up his graham cracker so that he could save it for when his milk was done!  Don't get between this little man and his food or drink!

A Visit from Aunt Tiff!

Aunt Tiff came to visit us January 5th - 8th!  We always look forward to having Tiff (or anybody!) come and visit us!  The morning that she was flying in, Lily was SO excited she could hardly wait to go pick her up!  I just have to add that when we told Lily Tiff was coming, we asked her what she would like to do with Tiff.  Lily immediately said, "Lets go to YoCraze and I can show her how I play the games on the floor!"  That was the only thing that  Lily requests when we have visitors!  So if you ever decide to visit us in Denver, be prepared to go to YoCraze!
We all went to pick Tiff up from the airport and then headed to do some bowling!  It was great to see Lily improve so much from the last time we took her bowling!  We all could have taken a lesson from her as the rest of us didn't bowl our best games!  We did however have a great time together!

Half the time Lily used the ball roller and then she decided to do it all by herself!  She has talent for sure!

Logan spent most of the time at the balls or being held!  He cant wait until it is actually his turn to get to bowl!

Lily doing the happy dance after a great bowl!
After we were finished bowling, we headed to eat at Cheddar's.  And then it was off to YOCRAZE!  All we have to do is pull into the parking lot and Lily starts to get excited!  We had some yummy frozen yogurt and then Lily and Aunt Tiff played the games on the floor!  I am sad that I left the camera in the car:(  After a nice frozen treat, it was home for GAMES!  We played LOTS of games while Tiff was here!  We sure love having someone to play games with!

The next day we headed to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.  We were able to see Sue the T-Rex before she left Denver!  The exhibit was awesome!  Too bad there were no pictures allowed.  They had animated Dinosaurs as well!  They had a monitor above them so you could see what the Dino was looking at.  We do however have this wonderful picture to remind us of the time that Daddy and Aunt Tiff tried to feed Lily to the T-Rex!
After Sue, we went into the Discovery Zone!  This area is great for kids!

She did a great big puzzle with Tiff

Logan LOVES these toys!  Anywhere we see one, he is off to play with it!
Lily got to learn about African Instruments and play them!  They even went on a parade after they learned how to keep a rhythm!

Lily also got to make a T-Rex on a straw!  She is an amazing cutter!  She cut out the circle just as good as if I had done it!  (I just had to brag because I am the mom!)
We also spent a lot of time in the Air and Space area!  Lily loves to play astronaut!  She picked up moon rooks and even drove the ship safely home!
Saturday we hung out around the house and played games.  We also went out to eat and watched a movie with Lily.  Saturday night Lily and Tiff read bedtime stories together and Lily gave some great cuddles!  Then Sunday we went to Church, played, and then took Tiff to the airport.  Yes it was too short of a visit!  Lily was sad to see Tiff go as were the rest of us!
We cant wait for Aunt Tiff to come and visit again!  We are also getting excited for our other visitors to come!  We hope to have a lot of visitors this year!  So if you would like to book a reservation, just call and we will set you up in our guest suit and show you the sights!
