Denver to Seattle!

We have been looking forward to our trip to Seattle since January!  We hadn't seen Mark and Jenni and Payton and Sadie for over two years before our trip!  We had such a great trip!  The kids had a good time and we got to enjoy great company!  And a bonus was enjoying 20 degree cooler temperatures!
Our kids love to fly!  They both had a great time looking out the window!
When we got to Mark and Jenni's house, the kids hit the sprinklers in the back yard!

Then when Mark got home we went to one of the many wonderful beach parks!  (I may be a little jealous of these parks!)  The kids had a great time playing in the water and the sand.

After we got home from Beach park, we had a yummy meal, put the kids to bed and then we played a game while Jenni was at Young Women's.  It was a nice way to start our trip!

Thursday we went to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium.  The kids enjoyed seeing the animals!  I have to say it was cool to see the sharks at the Zoo!  We also had a picnic and watched the animal show before we headed home.

After the Zoo we went back to the house and got ready to go to Lake Washington.  We once again played in the sand and water.  The kids were in heaven!  Lily has been wanting to go to "Payton and Sadie's beach" for months now!  After playing, we went to dinner at a great pizza place!

Friday we took the ferry to Bainbridge Island.  The kids loved the ferry!  You got to see some great views of the sky line too!

One of Lily and Logan's favorite things to do while we were in Seattle was to pick the wild blackberries!  They were EVERY WHERE!

Logan insisted on holding Jenni's hand!  He wouldn't let go of her finger!
One of the shops in Bainbridge has a huge bunny wondering around!  Lily and Logan would have loved to take it home with us!
After the ferry, we walked along the piers over to Pikes Place Market.  We stopped to use the telescopes.
Pikes Place Market was incredible!  I LOVED that place!  If I lived close, I would be there all the time trying new things!  TJ was so excited that they had Hungarian sausage!  The only thing that would have made it better would have been Hungarian cheese!

Payton, Sadie and Lily all held snakes at the market!  I am so proud of my daughter!  There was no way I was holding those snakes!

Saturday we took the kids to a Children's Festival and Concert in Covington.  The kids had a great time!  They had bouncy houses, an awesome reptile man, crafts, games, and a local band that plays kids music.

After petting the reptiles, the alligator pet Lily!

Logan got worn out and took a nap while the kids and Daddies danced and enjoyed the concert and the Mommies shopped at the consignment store that I wish I had in my area!

We then took the kids home and got ready for the babysitter to come!  We had tickets to the Mariners game!  We had a great time down at the stadium with Mark and Jenni!  Even better the Mariners won!

We were able to get great seats!  It really was a great night!

Sunday we went to Church.  We sent Logan to Nursery for the first time.  He actually has two more weeks til Nursery, but we decided to send him and he did great!  After Church we all took a nap and then we went to pick blackberries and take pictures.  Then we had dinner and played games while Jenni made dessert with the blackberries we picked!

Monday Payton woke up sick so TJ and I took Lily and Logan and Sadie to Snoqualmie Falls.  Beautiful!  We walked around the viewing areas and then had a picnic and then went into the town to walk around.  Next time I would love to go to the train museum they had in town.

When Mark got home from work on Monday, Logan enjoyed some Mario Cart with him!  I'm sure he won every game!
Monday night the kids had so much fun jumping around and tackling each other and just having fun!  It was so much fun to watch them laugh and play together.  I wish we could do it more often!

Tuesday morning we hung out around the house and then headed to the airport.   We are so glad we got to go visit Mark and Jenni!  We had an amazing time!  Thank you guys for playing with us!  We can't wait to see you guys again!  Hopefully it wont take another two years!
