WE LOVE FALL!

Last week we had some really beautiful days!  I thought it would be fun to stop after school and take some pictures of the kids.  We also collected leaves and took them home to make leaf pictures!  We love fall!

Lily turns 5!

It is hard to believe hat Lily turned 5 this year!  She has grown up too fast!  For her birthday she wanted to have a painting party.  She invited friends from Church and school and we had a great time!

Then on Lily's big day, we started out with yummy cinnamon rolls and a banana smoothie for breakfast!  Both Lily and Logan got to make their own party hats too!

 Then it was time for presents!  She was so excited about everything she got!

Happy Birthday beautiful Lily!  You have grown up to be an amazing young lady!  We love you so much and are so blessed to have you as part of our family!

Devil's Head

For Labor day we went with a bunch of friends to hike Devil's Head.  Devil's Head is one of the local fire lookouts.  It was a lot of fun!  Lily basically ran up the mountain and beat TJ, Logan and me up the trail!  Luckily we had some friends that ran with her!  She was passing people the whole way up!  Oh to have that kind of energy!  Logan did great too!  He did get tired half way up and so TJ carried him a lot of the way!  TJ is amazing!  It wasn't the easiest hike I have been on but it was a beautiful hike!  Once you make it to the top of the mountain, you can hike up a ton of stairs and view all of the Denver area from the Fire lookout!

 At the top of the trail there was a little cave the kids loved exploring!  I guess it was more of a tunnel than a cave!

After the hike we went to Stake n' Shake for dinner and a much needed shake!  We had a great time with friends and enjoying nature!
