This year for Valentine's Day we stayed home and celebrated as a family! We love to make the day a little extra special for everyone and enjoy the time together. This year Lily enjoyed making a frame for her daddy as well as Valentine's for us! Since it was Monday and FHE night, we decorated Valentine cookies for our FHE activity! We had a great night together!
This next picture is not from Valentine's Day. On Sunday we were all eating breakfast together and talking about getting ready for Church. Daddy asked Lily if she was going to take a bath after we were done eating and of course she said yes! Well she finished early and so when we finished and went to find her, this is where she was. I walked in and she said, "Mom, I need water for my bath!" She is always making us laugh!

Escaping the COLD!
TJ headed to California the first week February. He went for work and left his two girls in the coldest weather Colorado has had in YEARS! It was so cold that our garage door wouldn't open! It also came with snow! We stayed inside a lot while he was gone. We were well taken care of while he was gone! The neighbor took care of the garbage for me since he didn't want me falling down the driveway being pregnant and all! Also I have a wonderful friend that shoveled the drive for me! So while TJ played in the sun, Lily and I enjoyed some girl time indoors full of fun and chick flicks! TJ will have to add to this post to tell you about his amazing time in Sunny California! But until then, here is a picture of the beauty he was able to enjoy!

Wagstaff Family Visits!
We had visitors last weekend! The Wagstaff family came to visit! Lily was very excited to have her cousin Wyatt come and play! They had a great time together and got along very well! Lily was sad to see them leave, as we all were. We had a great weekend full of lots of fun.
They flew in on Thursday night so Friday morning is when all the fun began. Friday we headed up North of the City and went to the Hammond's Candy Factory. We enjoy seeing the candy made by hand and sampling it too! Lily and Wyatt thought their new hats were pretty cool!
At the end of the tour came the best surprise of all! Lily got to pick out her very own lollipop! This made her very happy!
After the Candy Factory and lunch, we headed to the Butterfly Pavilion. We had a great time looking at all the bugs and butterflies.
While we were there TJ held Rosie the tarantula! Not only did daddy do it, but Lily did it too! She thought it was so much fun that she had to do it a second time before we left! You are supposed to be 3 before you hold her so that you don't scare her by moving to fast, but Lily had no problem holding still and enjoying the experience! She surely got that from her dad and not her mom!
Allie and Nate took turns too! You can tell just how excited they were about it!
Lily's second turn with Rosie! As you can see mom didn't take a turn!
The kids also got to touch sea stars! They thought that was pretty cool!
Not sure if the kids liked the Butterflies or the swinging on the way out to the car more! We sure did have a fun day!
Saturday we spent the day at the Children's Museum! This was a blast! The kids would have stayed much longer, but the parents were getting tired! We got there right in time for story time and so we did that first! Then we played, played, played!
Planting a garden
Playing with the trains
This was a favorite! This room was all bubbles! We could have stayed in there for hours! Plus the kids looked so cute in their lab coats and safety glasses!
The parents thought this room was awesome too! TJ would have played for hours all by himself!
This was where you could stand inside of a bubble!
Sunday we just relaxed. Lily and Wyatt had a great time sharing their blanket and a good movie! They also did a lot of playing in Lily's room! If anyone comes over, that is the first place she wants to take them! She loves to share her toys and have friends to play with!
Monday we played at home and then took them to the Airport. Lily was sad to say goodbye. She cannot wait for another visitor to come! Thanks Wagstaff's for coming and spending time with us! We sure had a great time and look forward to another visit!

What is your name?
Last night we were talking about baby brother and other such things with Lily. I asked her what his name was and she said, "Baby!" Seeing that we call him baby brother she gave a great answer! I then asked her what her name was. She responded, "I Lily Janice Gray. I a Child of God!" It was just the cutest thing ever! I am so glad that she knows she is a Child of God! She is such a sweet little girl and we love having her in our home. She keeps us focused on what is important in life! She also makes us laugh!
