A Cardboard Box...

Who knew that a simple cardboard box could provide HOURS of fun!  While TJ was away for work, Lily and  Logan and I went to work here at home!   We found ourselves with two very large boxes that were begging for us to turn them into play houses!  We spent two days cutting and painting the houses.  There was some playing in between as well!  Now these two lovely homes are occupied daily by two very rambunctious kids!  They also have the ability to turn into bumper car houses, super fast race car houses and hiding places too!  The kids are having a great time with their new creations!  I love that it doesn't take something extravagant to bring such joy onto my children's faces!  Just a little paint and a cardboard box!

During the painting process.  Lily did an excellent job painting!  It took us two days because we could only paint while Logan napped!  She was so careful as she painted as well!

AFTER  These are the finished products.  The kids sure have a great time playing in them!  We are already looking forward to many more fun projects like this one this summer!
