Girls Trip!

A few weeks ago, Lily, Logan and I packed our bags and headed to Utah for a girls plus Wyatt and Logan week!  Cassie came over to help me fly with the kids to make it a little easier~ Thanks Cassie!  It  was a great trip!

First up was the plane ride to Utah!  Lily has always LOVED planes and flying especially this time!  She was so excited to get on the plane and sit by the window!  I think she looked out of it over half the time!  She also enjoyed sitting by Cassie!  This was Logan's first flight and he did AMAZING!  Both kids were great on the way back as well!!!!!  This was great because I was a little worried how it would go by myself.

Logan waiting to get on the plane
Lily checking out our plane!  She couldn't wait to get on as soon as she saw it pull up!
As we were getting ready to leave for the airport, Lily asked if Olie could come and ride next to her.  So as you can see he took the trip with us!
Logan slept the WHOLE way to Utah!
Once we got to Utah, our first stop was at Great Grandpa and Grandma Goble's house!  This was the first time they met Logan.  We sat in the back yard and visited as they took turns enjoying our little man!  I am so glad that my kids are able to meet some of their Great Grandparents.  I sure miss my Grandparents, but I am so glad that they have the chance to meet TJ's!  Lily enoyed playing in the yard and showing off her new little brother!

After Visiting with Great Grandpa and Grandma Goble, it was off to Grandpa and Grandma Gray's house!  Allie and Nate and Wyatt came over to meet Logan.  While we were waiting to go get our nails done, Lily and Wyatt had a great time playing together!  They are so fun together!  I heard some "music" coming from the other room and went to see what was up...This is what I found!
Lily was singing as they played!  They "played" Brightly Beams, and I love to see the Temple multiple times!  They were having such a great time!  They were also very kind to Grandma's Piano!

Allie meeting Logan for the first time!  The next time we see them, we will be meeting thier little girl for the first time!

The next place we headed, was Grandpa Gray's office!  Lily got to have her first Eye Exam!  She was the perfect patient doing everything Grandpa asked of her!  She LOVED sitting on the big chair!  Grandpa also gave her a few animal crackers which she loved!

After Lily and I got our eyes checked, we headed to our first official Girls Week activity....PEDICURES!  No girls trip is started unless the nails are done!  Lily enjoyed her very first time at the Salon!  She said she wanted her toes and hands painted, and Grandma just cant say no to Lily, so Lily was the only one to get both toes and nails painted!  She picked blue sparkles for her toes and pink sparkles with moon shaped glitter for her nails.  She LOVED being with the big girls and getting her nails done!  I wish I had taken a picture of her as she was sitting on my lap being very still letting her nails dry when she fell asleep!  She slept all the way through my pedicure and woke up to go home!  She took relaxing and getting your nails done to a whole new level!

The next morning we headed out to St. George!  We took two cars.  Grandma took Allie, Marci, Wyatt and Lily.  Lily LOVED sitting by Marc, aka Moo Moo!  She also loved that Grandma's car had a DVD player and she could watch movies~ As you can see she is too busy to look at the camera to get her picture taken!  I know Lily LOVED her time with Moo Moo and still talks about riding next to her!  In the other car was Tiff, Cass, Logan and me.  A lot quieter, we played different car games and had a great time talking!

We stopped half way there for lunch and some park time.  Lily is spoiled by her aunts that enjoy playing with the toys too!  They had fun going on the swings and the slide.  So much fun that Lily fell asleep shortly after getting back in the car.  When she woke up, she was a little worried about where I was.  They called me and I tried to tell her that I would see her soon and that she would have fun with Aunt Moo Moo.  Marci gave her a treat, we stopped for gas and I said hi to her, she woke up more and then was fine!

We made it to St. George and settled into our amazing suite and then hit the pool!  Lily went crazy with excitment!  She Loved playing with her aunts and Wyatt.

These two would have jumped all day long if the aunts would have had the stamina to keep up!

Logan also LOVED the water!  He didn't get to spend as much time in it, but he loved the time he got!
That night we put the kids to bed and played games.  We had a great time playing games each night while taking a break from the kids!
Logan had so much fun with all his aunts!  They loved taking turns and holding him.  He would talk to them and smile at them.

So I never knew how much Lily moved in her sleep until I shaired
The next day was more swimming!  Lily was in Heaven being able to spend so much time at the pool!

Lily pour water on Tiff and Logan and anyone else that would let her!
Playing on the "boats!"  They were so excited to ride with their aunts!

Taking a break to get hydrated!  It was so hot down there that we had to drink a lot!

There was alos dancing!  These two would make us laugh and smile quite often by what they were doing!
These two were also very good at putting sunblock on!  Marci was brave enough to let them put it on her face each time before the pool!

The next day we went into St. George and hiked the Red Rock that overlooks all of St. George!  It was a little hike and an amazing view!

We also went to the St. George Temple!  I LOVE the Temple as does my little Lily!  I never realized just how white this temple is until I saw it in person!  i think this is the whitest temple I have seen!  It was beautiful!

The Gray girls in front of the temple!  These are all wonderful girls and I am happy to be part of such a great family!

The day before we left, we went to Tuacahn and watched The Little Mermaid!  It was amazing!  Every play they do there has a water feature!  Easy enough with the Little Mermaid, but it was still amazing to watch them use water in the play!  Lily LOVED it as did Wyatt!  Grandma said she was glad she was going back because she spent most of the time watching these two's excitement!  I have to say I watched Lily a lot because of her innocent reactions!  I love to watch Lily experience things for the first time and see the pure joy in her face!  It keeps me young!
These two sporting their new sunglasses that the Moms picked up as we took Cassie and went shopping before the show!  They were being silly while they waited for everyone to get ready for the show!

Holding hands on the way to the show!  These two were the best of friends on the trip.   That also means they were a little competitive and they both had a few melt downs and they sure fed off each other.  It is great that they get to spend time toegether and build that realationship!
Before the show we went to dinner at the Pizza Factory.  Lily was a big fan of the breadsticks!

The show got over at 11:50pm and Lily stayed awake the whole time!  It was a great night!

The next morning we got up and headed back to Lehi.   We stopped for lunch in Beaver and took our picture with the big rocking chair.

Lily also enjoyed a nice ice cream treat that she got all over!

Once we were back in Lehi, we took the kids over to Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Gray's house so they could meet Logan.  It was nice to visit with them and let them meet Logan.
That was the end of our trip.  We packed our bags and headed to the airport bright and early (4:30am) the next morning.  TJ came and picked us up and then we went home and slept!  It was such a great trip!  It was a great way to build stronger relationships with my wonderful mother-in-law and sister-in-laws!  We look forward to many more fun trips!
Thanks Grandma Gray for a wonderful trip!  Also, thanks Allie for some of the pictures!
