Weekend Sleepover!

A few weeks back I was talking to my sister Kim.  Lily wanted to talk to her cousin Cody.  Lily then proceeds to ask him if he would like to have a sleepover at her Grandma Lisa's house.  Cody heard that Lily wanted to have a sleepover and figured that it was at her house.  The next few days he drove my sister crazy begging to go to Lily's house.  He even said he had the tickets to fly there in his dresser drawer!  I will not apologize for Lily because it resulted in a weekend sleepover at our house!  David suggested that they drive over Friday morning (leaving at 3am) and then staying until Sunday.  So Kim called and we made plans to spend the weekend together!  Lily and all of us were very excited that we were going to have visitors!  Friday came and we planned to meet in Fort Collins at the Budweiser plant to let the kids see the Western Clydesdale team.  These horses are BEAUTIFUL!  And VERY large!  When we got there, Lily and Cody were so very excited!  They had so much fun the whole weekend!  On Sunday when they left, Lily was very sad.  Hopefully it wont be too long before we see each other again!  And for Kim and David's sake, I hope this will tie Cody over until we do get together again!

We had a great time with the horses.  We then headed back to our house to wait for TJ to get home from work.  After dinner, it was time for Lily to show our guests to the royal treatment and take them to one of her favorite places, YoCraze!  She told me before our guests got here, "Mom, David has never been to YoCraze and it is a very special place so we should take them there!"  As we were getting ready to go, both the kids went to put on their pj's (the last time Cody was here, we went to YoCraze and they both wore their pj's) and their boots.  When we got there, they had some yummy yogurt and played the games on the floor!

Logan also enjoyed playing, but he just got to play with Daddy's hat!
Where is Logan?

On Saturday, we hung out around the house, took the kids to McDonald's for lunch and play time and then we went bowling.  We headed to the bowling alley to bowl and played some arcade  games first.  Then the kids bowled and then we played some more games.  The kids had such a fun time as did the adults!
 Skeet ball was a favorite

And air hockey!  They both got so excited no matter who scored!

They enjoyed driving the car, even though they weren't really playing the game!
Then it was time to bowl!  These two both did very well!  No one was injured by the ball!

Lily was so funny.  Every time she would wait for her ball to roll down, she would stick her chin on her little fists and wait!
Cody was so much fun to bowl with!  He would high five all the time and tell you good job!  He was also his Dad's good luck charm.  He helped his Dad get two strikes!
Logan was the official ball boy!  Soon he will be a bowler!

After bowing we played some more games!  Logan got in on the action this time!  He thought that driving was pretty fun!

After we were all done, we had to go trade in our "tickets" (now it is all done with a card so you don't have to carry around all those tickets) and Lily had fun picking her prizes!  It was a shame that her fingers are too small for the Chinese handcuffs!
When we got home, the kids had a great time running around and playing.  They had a great time!  We look forward to seeing them again!  Hopefully we can get some more people to come visit us this year!  We are so glad that some of our family has made the trip out to visit us!  It is hard to see them as much as we would like being so far away!  We try to go see them every so often and so it is nice to have some of them make the trip to come visit us here in Denver!  Hopefully we will be able to get more of them to come!  And friends are welcome too!
