This year Lily got to go to work with TJ on, "Take your child to work day!" She was over excited about the opportunity to go to work with Daddy! She was also very excited to know she got to ride the train to work! She has always wanted to ride the train and this was the perfect opportunity for her to get to do so! We packed her backpack with things to do while Daddy worked and she wore it all morning long! It was such a special day with her Dad!

She got to draw on Daddy's board. This is one of her favorite things to do when she goes to the office!
Working at her table next to Daddy's desk. She got to have special treats from the office and a very special drink!
She also got to eat lunch with Daddy in his office. Then it was off to a movie in the conference room with some of the other kids in the office. Lily made friends with a little girl named Bella, which she is very convinced that her name is Ella!
Daddy and Lily also took a park break in between Daddy's meetings. Then while Daddy was in his afternoon meeting, Lily hung out in his office by herself and made, "green stuff" out of water. Not sure what it was, but she came home with green hands. TJ isn't sure what she made either! At least she didn't make a mess all over or ruin anything! The things three year olds will do unattended!
By the time I picked them up from the train, it had been a long day! Lily was completely exhausted! She didn't even make it home before she was out cold! We had to make a stop to pick up Daddy's tux and she slept right through it. She didn't even wake up when we got home. So it was straight to bed for her! I know she is already excited to go back next year!
Logan and I had a great day at home. We got a lot of things done!!!! He took a great nap and was a champ while we went grocery shopping! He missed Lily, but loved the alone time too! It was sweet to see him look at her car seat and point as if he were asking where she was. He also played all the things Lily does. He was also very smiley when she got in the car after work!
