ONE FUN DAY!

A few weeks back we had a super fun day!  Now that is not to say that we don't have a lot of fun in our house, but usually we spread the activities out over several days!  It all started as we were out doing our shopping for the week and every place we went had awesome dollar deals!  Needless to say, I went a little crazy, but at least it was all dollar items, right!  When we got home, we just had to try out our new finds! 

First up was trying out our new water squirters!  Lily is pretty good at aiming where she wants to spray.  Logan was good at pushing the water out onto the patio!  They both had a great time and couldn't wait for another water fight!

 Then it was time to make some homemade Popsicles!  Lily was very excited for this!  She got to pick out the flavor, pink lemonade, and then she got to help make them!

 After Popsicles we got ready for a marshmallow fight when Daddy got home.  We left a bag of marshmallows taped to the back door with a note telling Daddy to come in prepared to fight!  Then I watched for him to get home as I made dinner and told Lily when it was time!  She LOVED throwing mallows at her Dad!  Logan was a little unhappy until Daddy put him on his shoulders and let him be part of the action!  The floor was a MESS, but it was so much fun and so worth the clean up!  

It was a great day!  Lily loves when we do special things!  I am trying to be better about doing things other than our regular routine.  We will see what we come up with next!
